Youth For The Environment (Y4TE), a non-profit students' organisation, has spent the past year raising funds for good causes such as adopting endangered animals, planting trees, purchasing bins for the Ahrax area in Mellieha etc. To conclude their first year in operation as a student organisation, they have decided to organise a party at 'The Anvil Pub' in St. Julian's where part of the profits made by the bar shall be donated to 'Red Cross - Japan'. This donation is being done in light of the recent natural disasters which have befallen the country, leaving many people homeless. The event is on Wednesday, 27th April and shall start at 8:30 pm. 'TwoTimeShooter', 2010 Rookie's Battle of the Bands winners, who recognised the importance of fundraising events for good causes and shall be performing in a live acoustic set at the bar from 9:30 pm onwards.
To emphasise good will and contribution to philanthropy in general, Presidents Nathan Adams (Youth For The Environment | Y4TE) and Noel Pace (Malta Pharmaceutical Students' Association | MPSA) shall be donating both of their pays made during their shift at 'The Anvil Pub' for the event. We would like to thank all the University of Malta students for their fantastic response. Looking forward to see you there.

Following last year's massive success, IAESTE Malta will be organising its annual treasure hunt around Malta on the 10th of April 2011 starting from the University of Malta Quadrangle. The rules are simple: - Form a group of 3-4 people.
- Get a car. Any vehicle!
- Meet us up at the University of Malta quadrangle on the 10th of April .
- Use the clues you'll be provided with to find the checkpoints all around Malta.
- At each checkpoint, earn points to win loads of prizes!
Therefore if you're bored of the usual stuff and want to have some fun with friends this April, while also getting the chance to win some amazing prizes, you'd better be there for the IAESTE Treasure Hunt. And we are still working to get more and more prizes for you! So what are you waiting for?! The price per car is only €20, which means that if you get 3 other friends interested, it is only €5 per person!!! And note that its not only the winning team that gets prizes, runners up also win fabulous gifts!

by KSU. Besides having a stand where you can learn more about the
IAESTE Exchange Program and the application process, we will also be
organizing a slow bike race and dancing the IAESTE Dance on Wednesday
