IAESTE Malta and The Science Students’ Society (S-Cubed) and will be organising a Careers Week for Technical Students at the University of Malta between Monday 27th February and Friday 2nd March 2012.
This initiative is targeted at students studying Science, Engineering, IT, Pharmacy and Architecture and is aimed at exposing students to the career opportunities available to them once they graduate. Throughout this week-long activity, a number of talks will be delivered by individuals and government entities and several industrial site visits will be organised.
One of the main highlights of the event is the Company Contact session which will be held on Wednesday 29th February 2012, where a number of companies from their respective fields will be invited to the KSU Common Room, Students’ House to manage stands and interact with students by answering queries and providing information about their company on a one-to-one basis.
In addition, the annual IAESTE Wine Night will also be organised on Friday 2nd March 2012 as a conclusion to the event and will enable students to not only network and meet future employers over a glass of wine but also help them open up to numerous possibilities on completion of their respective courses.
This event is being organised in collaboration with UESA, ICTSA, SACES and MPSA.

S-Cubed is a faculty based student organisation representing students reading for a degree under the Faculty of Science through social activities and educational initiatives. IAESTE Malta is a University based student organization that raises local traineeships within industry and co-ordinates their exchange with other IAESTE countries, so as to send Maltese students studying Science,Engineering, IT, Architecture and Pharmacy abroad on paid work experience relevant to their studies.
